WordPress 7.0 is scheduled for official release on April 9, 2026.
In advance of that, I have tested and upgraded all plugins published in the Plugin Directory to the WordPress 7.0 environment.
Minimum requirements for the plugin
With this update, the minimum requirement for the WordPress version has been updated to 6.8 or higher.
Note: This change does not mean that your currently installed plugins will stop working if they don’t meet the requirements. It means that you will not be able to perform new installations or updates if the requirements are not met.
